One of them is Jonathan Craig, a Professor in the College of Medicine and Public Health at Flinders University in Adelaide, Australia, and a former World Health Organization (WHO) evaluation expert. Other prominent guests who will speak on different aspects of the culture of scientific integrity include Prof. Ronny Bruffaerts, Professor of Psychiatry at the Faculty of Medicine of the Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium), Prof. Dr Eugenijus Gefenas, a Professor of Medical Ethics and the head of Centre for Health Ethics, Law and History in the Institute of Public Health, Medical Faculty at VU, Dr Ana Ferreras, Senior Program Officer at the U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine.
This event is open to all the members of our academic community: scientists, researchers, and doctoral students. We invite also representatives of other Lithuanian universities, members of Committees of Academical Ethics and Research Ethics as well as Mentors of doctoral students.
The event will take place at the Scholarly Communication and Information Centre, Conference Hall (Sauletekio av. 5, Vilnius). It will be live only and will be held in English. Translation to Lithuanian will not be provided.
