The Martynas Mazvydas National Library of Lithuania project received the largest amount of funding, LTL 112 thousand (EUR 32.5 thousand). While Utena Miskinis Pubic Library project received LTL 94 thousand (EUR 27.2 thousand) and Siauliai Visisnskis Public Library project LTL 65 thousand (EUR 19 thousand).
As instructed by the minister of culture LTL 17-30 thousand (EUR 5-9 thousand) each was allocated for the projects of Lithuanian Library for the Blind, Lazdijai District Municipality Public Library, Public Library of Klaipeda Municipality, the Klaipeda County Ieva Simonaityte Public Library, Public Library in Kaunas and Municipal Public Library Association.
A total of 40 applications were received, which were assessed by the Library Development Project Evaluation Committee. The aim of the project is to actively contribute to reducing the digital divide as well as to help teach new skillets necessary for a successful use of information technology.
