The International Animation Film Market (MIFA) which takes place during the festival will host a Lithuanian pavilion No. 5005. "We assessed the last year's achievements and are happy to promote Lithuanian animation industry and animators at the MIFA again," Rolandas Kvietkauskas, the director at the Lithuanian Film Centre, said. "The fact that the Lithuanian film was selected to the festival for the second year in a row shows that Lithuanian animators are gaining a foothold in the international scene and their work is getting recognition. We hope that participation in the MIFA will help our directors and producers to present their works, make contacts and launch new projects."
The Lithuanian Films pavilion will provide information on Lithuanian animation industry – operating production companies and studios; services they provide; as well as contacts of Lithuanian animators, their works and projects. A special publication was prepared for the MIFA introducing Lithuanian animation industry and filmmakers.
