Schmitz especially enjoyed the international MRU student body and meeting students not only from Japan, but also from Italy, Germany and Spain.
He says Vilnius is a magical city with an incredible energy and the international student body at MRU is fantastic.
Schmitz studied in a joint Master’s Degree programme, “European Legal Practice Integrated Studies” (ELPIS) organized by several universities including MRU, after completing Bachelor's Degree studies in Brazil. The Master’s is a joint degree programme with the University of Lisbon and MRU.
Studies subjects available at MRU were a factor to come study at this University.
"I could have gone to universities in France or Germany, but decided to come to MRU Vilnius. In addition, after studies, I did an internship in a private company in Vilnius in my area of tax law," he said.
