On 15 July the Rector of Vilnius Gediminas Technical University Prof. Alfonsas Daniūnas has participated in 10th Asia Technological University Network University Presidents Forum, hosted by long-term VGTU partner – Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. Virtual forum “Embracing the New Norm: Leadership, Values and Skills” was dedicated to reflect upon the challenges all universities faced during the Covid-19 pandemic and the way it contributes to transforming the higher education. During the roundtable discussion the Rector shared successful VGTU community experience in transforming university activities in the course of lockdown as well as plans for further reimagining studies and students learning experience.
