The company will perform in one of the most prominent theatres of Sicily on 29 May – 1 June.
The programme includes extracts from both classical and contemporary ballet. It features extracts from ballets staged by Marius Petipa – Swan Lake, La Bayadere, the Sleeping Beauty and Giselle, as well as the neoclassical Nutcracker (choreographer Andrey Melanjin) and the contemporary Tristan and Iseult, and Coppelia.
The troupe of the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre introduced the Italians with its history and the Lithuanian ballet school.
