MRU Vice-Rector Prof. Regina Valutytė said University internationality remains a top priority for MRU.
Internationality is nothing new for any University today, Vice-Rector Prof. Valutytė said. Internationality was a priority for a long time in MRU's strategy and gradually become an integral element of all university activities.
This is also evident in the improvement of the rankings of the University in the annual "QS World University Rankings by Subject" in the area of Law. MRU was ranked among the 250 best universities globally in the area of Law.
The "Reitingai" magazine ratings released this month, evaluated universities in the international sphere and took into account the number of accredited programmes in a foreign language, the number of international students studying at universities and the number of "Erasmus" programme students that study at the University as well as academic exchanges.
In 2019 Mykolas Romeris University implemented 17 studies programmes in English. The number of students from abroad studying in Bachelor's programmes grew by more than 90% compared to 2018. The figure was up 22% for students in Master's Degree programmes.
At this time there are more than 700 students from abroad that study at MRU.
The University offers not only programmes in English, but also double diploma programmes where lecturers come from abroad to lecture.
