President Dalia Grybauskaite also attended the presentation. According to her, the first Lithuanian picture from satellite LituanicaSAT-1 proves that Lithuania is capable of developing world-class innovations.
"Lithuania made its first steps in space. We should be proud to become a country with space presence," said the president.
According to Grybauskaite, the Lithuanian science and business is conquering new markets and areas of research. Following the successful implementation of the satellite project, the country showed that it is capable to independently develop, adopt and improve modern technologies.
The president wished the researchers success in implementing new ambitious projects and to continue promoting Lithuania with their inventions.
