Students will be meeting at MRU‘s Security research lab; visiting the headquarters of the Border Guard Service of the Vilnius region, visiting the Lithuanian-Belarus border check point at Lavoriškės; meeting with Lithuania's parliament member Mantas Adomėnas; and touring the KGB museum. The students from Germany will also will be visiting the Grūtas Theme Park of Communism together with MRU‘s students of the International and Intercultural Study Program, who are about to end the course, „Propaganda and information conflicts“.
MRU‘s Communication Institute and the Media Faculty of the University of Applied Sciences of Kiel have a double diploma agreement which allows for MRU students of International and Intercultural Communication and Communication and Digital Marketing study programs to receive a second diploma from Kiel University after studying at Kiel for at least two semesters with the help of Erasmus program. The same applies to German students: two semesters at MRU entitle them to get a second diploma from Mykolas Romeris University.
