The first e-Constitution of the Republic of Lithuania was released to mark the 24th anniversary of the Restoration of the Independence of Lithuania.
According to Minister of Justice Juozas Bernatonis, the opportunity to read this document on the phone was to encourage the youth to take interest in the Lithuania's legal bases and was to help to bring up the public-spirited generation.
"The electronic variant of the Constitution will be practical for the youth and other people who are actively using the new technologies in their daily lives. I hope that it will be easier for the younger citizens to get acquainted with the main state's document," said Bernatonis.
