INFORMATION TO STUDENTS REGARDING THE CLEANING SERVICES PROVIDED ON THE PREMISES OF VGTU HOUSING
- The common areas of the University’s housing (corridors, lounges, kitchens (including stoves, sinks and other equipment and inventory), toilets / showers (including the sanitary equipment, mirrors), lifts, the main staircases and landings, entrance to the building areas, dormitory watchman’s premises, premises of waste disposal) should be cleaned every day (wet/damp cleaning process). The cleaning process starts not earlier than 8 A.M.
- Every dormitory should have at least two persons cleaning the dormitory. They should work every working day not shorter than from 8 A.M. until 5 P.M. All horizontal and vertical surfaces of the common-use areas should be clean during working days.
Floors and mats of the common-use showers and toilets should be cleaned and disinfected with antifungal cleaner (a chemical that destroys fungus) every working day. Tile walls in these premises should be cleaned at least once a week (wet/damp cleaning process). - Common-use kitchen floors should be cleaned every day. Tile walls in these premises should be cleaned at least once a week (wet/damp cleaning process).
- Lounge areas should be cleaned at least two times a week (wet/damp cleaning process).
- Common-use balconies should be cleaned at least once a week.
- Floors of the lifts should be cleaned every day (wet/damp cleaning process). Walls, doors and mirrors of the lifts should be cleaned every day.
- Waste bins on the premises of VGTU housing or in their surroundings should be cleaned and disinfected every day. Waste bin liners should be changed every day.
