The conference will bring together academics and scholars from Italy, France, Poland, Romania as well as Lithuania to present modern concepts regarding identity. Academics will discuss factors that contribute to its development as well as possible consequences of identity development.
Conference organisers say that due to dynamic changes in society, it is necessary to recognize and support the needs of youth. This is critical in securing the well-being of the young in contemporary Europe, they note.
Conference partners include: Italy's University of Bologna; France's University of Bordeaux; Poland's Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw; Romania's Babes-Bolyai University; the Tolerant Youth Association in Lithuania; and Lithuania's Kaunas University of Technology (associated partner), along with Mykolas Romeris University, Vilnius.
The Conference is part of the Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership Project: Innovative Curriculum for Strong Identities in Diverse Europe.
