During his visit, the minister visited the Bishop Challoner Catholic Collegiate School. About 70 Lithuanian students are learning in this school.
During the meeting with the heads of the schools and students, Pavalkis discussed the similarities and difference of the education programs in Lithuania and UK.
The minister encouraged the students to preserve the relations with Lithuania and to cherish Lithuanian language, culture and customs. Pavalkis promised to supplement the school's library with Lithuanian books in the short run.

During the meeting, the ministers discussed the issues related to the trainings, the education leadership, the science, business and education cooperation.
Pavalkis visited the London Centre for Nanotechnology and met with leaders of the UK National College for Teaching & Leadership and representatives of Lithuania's community.
