First Lithuanian space mission delayed

The NASA announced that, due to the solar flare and the increased activity in the U.S. space agency, the launch of the first Lithuanian satellites was postponed again.

It is not clear when the launch of the first Lithuania's satellites will be taking place.

According to chief of Lituanica Sat-1 Laurynas Maciulis, the natural phenomena were very important to the space industry. Maciulis highlighted that there was a try to eliminate the smallest risk factors.

"The decision made by the NASA specialists reaffirms how carefully the whole missions are planned. The saying "People are planning, God laughs" perfectly describes this case," said Maciulis.

As reported, it was planned that the viewers and listeners of the LRT on Wednesday were to become the witnesses of historic event. It was planned that in the evening of January 8 first Lithuanian satellites was to be launched.
