VU team, consisting of students Domantas Jadenkus, Justas Klimavičius and Darius Kurtinaitis and team coach assoc. prof. Vladas Tumasonis, were the first team to solve challenge A and were awarded a special prize of 1200 USD.
More than 50 thousand teams from over 3000 universities have applied for the ICPC contest. During a very tough final challenge, VU students triumphed over teams from Harvard, Oxford and Cambridge universities and proved to have excellent programming skills and creative programming solutions.
