The tournament aims to popularise chess at MRU and in Lithuania, to raise the mastery of MRU chess players. It is open to all interested players.
Registration will begin at 18:00 hrs., and the first round is set to begin at 18:30 hrs.
Monetary prizes will be awarded to the winners as well as medals and diplomas.
The tournament is organized by MRU's Health and Sports Centre and "Šachmatų pasaulis."
