From formal introductions to campus, city and Lithuania tours, traditional food tasting, and Lithuanian cinema – the KTU Welcome Week is packed with events for everyone’s taste.
On Monday, 29 January the new students will start with registration and warming-up, settling-in activities. On Tuesday you will be officially welcomed by the University’s Internationalisation Department, introduced to KTU Erasmus network activities and various possibilities for spending quality leisure time. International KTU students will share their experiences. Lithuanian folk music ensemble Nemunas will teach you the first steps of traditional dances.
Wednesday will help you to get more at home in the campus, and it will finish with a film night. Thursday is a local touring day. Dress warm and pack good mood into your backpack.
Friday and Sunday nights are for informal get-togethers, and on Saturday you will visit two Lithuanian capital cities – Vilnius (the current capital) and Trakai (the old one).
We are expecting 140 new international students for Spring Semester. Hope you all have safe travel, and see you soon!
