Cloud computing, broadband Internet, nanomaterials and devices, supercomputers, ICT infrastructure, cyber security, vision on how future technologies will change our grandchildren's life – these are only several topics that will be concentrated on during the three plenary sessions organised to discuss ICT development in science, industry, and society.
ICT 2013 includes:

The participants of ICT 2013 will attempt to answer how to encourage the growth of EU industry competitiveness using science and technologies; how to stimulate productiveness and innovations, modernisation of public services, progress in science and technology while invoking financial programmes. The experts will explain the details of research funding for ICT projects according to the new European Union research funding programme "Horizon 2020" for 2014–2020.
4000 participants are expected in the ICT 2013 event, including high-ranking officials from EU institutions and state members, academic institutions, leaders of research centres, founders of various funds, directors of companies in ICT field, and other representatives from business sector and journalists. In terms of the participants' number, it will be the biggest event in Vilnius during Lithuanian's presidency of the EU Council.
