LOGIN is the largest tech and innovations festival in the Baltic states which has grown from an event for 100 bloggers to an international conference with almost seven thousand participants from different countries of the world. Each year, LOGIN attracts IT, marketing, advertising and other sector specialists as well as outstanding international talents who come in search of ideas.
According to the President, the conference is the best proof that Lithuania can successfully lead in the world of ideas, inventions and technologies. We have potential, talents and infrastructure to be used for making Lithuania a center of technologies in the region. The future belongs to innovative, thrusting and ambitious Lithuania.
The opening session “Lithuania 4.000.000!” will present global trends of societal development and the place of national identity in the process of globalization. Virtual Lithuania, aimed at bringing together Lithuanians residing abroad and establishing a digital communication platform, is also in the focus.
According to the President, technological progress has made the world shrink but it is technologies that help many of us maintain strong ties with our country as well as with other compatriots. Dalia Grybauskaitė said that virtual Lithuania was a new reality of our time providing everyone with huge opportunities that simply have to be explored.
This year, LOGIN will discuss a variety of topics: cyber security, social media, marketing, and promotion of a healthy lifestyle through digital means. The event will focus on virtual reality, artificial intellect and human cyborg - a person with incorporated special technologies enabling him to hear wi-fi.
This year, presentations will be given by Adena Friedman, Chief Executive Officer of “Nasdaq”, Steve Murphy, Drug Enforcement Administration agent, embodied in the famous TV series “Narcos”, and others.
