The international project aims at presenting the latest language didactics and its achievements, sharing the experience and delivering the reports on a two-year experience in preparing curricula and modules in Scandinavian, Romanic, German, Slavonic and Baltic languages for naval academies, schools, universities, etc.; discussing, analyzing and solving problems of teaching and testing cadets, officers and civilians English and foreign languages in accordance with European and NATO standards.
The representatives established communication with NATO naval military schools and universities and discussed cooperation possibilities and areas. Foreign colleagues expressed their will to attend the conferences organized by the Military Academy of Lithuania and extended invitation to similar events, joint projects and scientific researches.
The event was beneficial to the Military Academy of Lithuania and National Defence System for relevant information on effective development of relationship with NATO and its partners in foreign language teaching and testing, participating in taking crucial decisions on language teaching following the EU language teaching standards and STANAG 6001 requirements, representing the Military Academy of Lithuania in joint projects and scientific researches, sharing the experience of solving lecturers' problems and developing joint activities in establishing study programmes related to national security.
