Citizens from Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Japan, China, Korea and Israel, as well as foreigners of Lithuanian origin, are eligible to apply for Lithuanian state funded scholarships for full-time Master degree studies.
Although the ways to the successful career are as varied as its definitions, research shows that employees holding Master’s degrees have better salaries, are more definite about their career goals and better equipped to achieve them. Various analyses show that professionals with broad skill set are most valuable in today’s job market, and Master’s studies is one of the most certain ways to achieve this.
“Often, people choosing to study on Master’s level seek to expand their knowledge, they set more ambitious goals to themselves, pursue higher job positions. Also, some management level jobs require Master’s degree from the start”, says Jurgita Vizgirdaitė, Director at Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) Department of Study Quality Assurance and Development.
