Vytautas Magnus Uni rector picked as head of Lithuanian Rectors' Conference

Juozas Augutis, the rector of the Vytautas Magnus University, was on Friday elected to head the Lithuanian University Rectors' Conference, an association consisting of the top officials of the country's universities. The conference aims to promote Lithuanian scientific, educational, cultural and economic development, co-operation between higher education institutions and international networking as well as cooperation with governmental authorities and local self-government bodies.
