"The number of foreign students in Estonia has skyrocketed in recent years, people come to study here for 3-5 years. However, many of them are unable to find a good dwelling during that time," Kroot Kilvet, chief of corporate banking at DNB Estonia, said.
She said DNB has been expecting a development in the field of student housing services for long and hopefully this step will give a fresh momentum to the dwelling rental market in all the Baltic countries.
1Home is a student housing service provider that rents new and renovated rooms to university students and interns in the Baltic countries. The dwellings offered by 1Home are similar is design and rented on similar conditions, with the final size of rent determined by the size and location of the apartment.
