The International Summer School organizing committee has prepared a special programme for better understanding of the tourism sector.
During the Summer School students will be familiarized with:
- tourism geography,
- sustainable tourism,
- sport, medical and adventure tourism,
- risk evaluation in disaster management for tourism.
Students will work in an interactive format, take part in discussions, and work in groups as well.
After the academic programme, cultural events and tours will be offered. Cultural events include a guided tour of the Vilnius Old Town and an excursion to Užupis.
There will be a possibility to visit the castle town of Trakai, the former Royal residence and former capital of Lithuania.
Price per person: 250 EUR - includes breakfast, lunch and coffee breaks, at the summer school, excursions, materials, accommodation at MRU's guest house; and transport throughout the duration of the Summer School.
