The film is made for the US company Caleidoscope Pictures, and a Lithuanian company Baltijos Filmu Paslaugos (Baltic Film Services) is in charge of the filming in the Lithuanian capital, the Vilnius municipality said.
The movie tells about cobbler Martin living in Russia in the end of 1800s. More than 200 persons are involved in the filming, including actors and technical personnel.
This is the first time Caleidoscope Pictures is shooting in Vilnius.
