Lithuania's road haulage and forwarding group Arijus has established a subsidiary company in the Netherlands. DS Smith Packaging Lithuania, British-owned corrugated cardboard and packaging manufacturer, saw its revenue grow by 5.4% in its financial year ended April 2015 to 33.586 million euros, from 31.874 million euros the year before. Lithuania's haulers, which have lost most of the Russian market, have managed to strengthen their positions in Western European markets, president of Linava, the Lithuanian national road carriers' association. The average retirement pension in Lithuania will increase by 8.21 euros, or 3.2%, to 265 euros on January 1, 2016 in line with the government's decision, which will affect approximately 857,000 people. |
