Over a quarter, the volume of building construction increased by 15.4%, seasonally and working day adjusted – 1%. The volume of construction of civil engineering structures increased by 9.6%, yet seasonally and working day adjusted – decreased by 10.4%.
In III quarter 2015, against III quarter 2014, the volume of construction work carried out decreased by 4% and was not influenced by the number of working days. The share of construction of civil engineering structures accounted for 48% of total construction work carried out in the country. Against III quarter 2014, the share of construction of civil engineering structures decreased by 13.8%. The share of construction of non-residential buildings accounted for 34% of total construction work carried out, or by 9.2% less than in III quarter 2014. The share of construction of residential buildings accounted for 18% of total construction work carried out, or by 64.9% more than in III quarter 2014.
In III quarter 2015, the volume of construction work carried out abroad amounted to EUR 55.8 million. Against II quarter 2015, the volume of such construction increased by 10.9%, against III quarter 2014, by 18.5%.
In January–September 2015, the volume of construction work carried out in the county amounted to EUR 1813 million, or by 2.5% more than in January–September 2014.

Construction work carried out refers to the value (VAT excluded) of all kinds of work carried out when building a new structure, reconstructing, repairing (restoring) or demolishing a structure for a customer (sale) or for own needs. It excludes the value of land and design work.
