Lithuania's retail trade volume rose by 5.4% in September compared with a year ago, the fourth-highest rate after 12% in Romania, 8% in Ireland, and 6.3% in Poland and the United Kingdom each.
Estonia's retail sales increased by 4.4% and Latvia posted a 4.4% growth rate.
In September compared with August, retail sales ticked up by 0.1% in Lithuania, but were down by 0.4% in Estonia and by 0.7% in Latvia.
Across the EU, the volume of retail trade grew by 3.7% year-on-year and edged up by 0.3% month-on-month.
