Over the month, mining and quarrying and manufacturing production decreased by 0.5%, seasonally and working day adjusted – increased by 0.8%; the same changes were recorded for the manufacturing production.
Over the month, a decrease in production was observed for the manufacture of other transport equipment (53.8%), basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations (40.3%), motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers (31.2%), repair and installation of machinery and equipment (25.6%), manufacture of textiles (14.1%), machinery and equipment not elsewhere classified (9.8%).
In July 2015, against June, an increase in production was observed for the manufacture of leather and related products (18.1%), wearing apparel (11.8%), electrical equipment (7.3%), paper and paper products (6.5%).
In July 2015, against July 2014, industrial production increased by 4.6% at constant prices, working day adjusted – by 5.9%. Over the year, mining and quarrying and manufacturing production increased by 5.8%, working day adjusted – by 7%, of which manufacturing production increased by 6.1%, working day adjusted – by 7.2%.
In January–July 2015, industrial production totalled EUR 10.9 billion at current prices and compared to the same period of 2014, grew by 4.5% at constant prices, working day adjusted – by 4%. Over the said period, mining and quarrying and manufacturing production increased by 5.2%, working day adjusted – by 4.7%; of which manufacturing production increased by 5.4%, working day adjusted – by 4.9%.
In January–July 2015, against January–July 2014, the proportion of mining and quarrying and manufacturing sales and services on the non-Lithuanian market increased by 0.9%age points and stood at 64.8%, on the Lithuanian market – decreased by 0.9%age points and stood at 35.2%. The value of sales and services to non-euro area countries accounted for more than half (53.6%) of the total value of sales and services on the non-Lithuanian market.
In January–July 2015, against January–July 2014, the value of sales and services of industrial enterprises on the non-Lithuanian market decreased by 0.2% at current prices. The decrease was mainly influenced by an 11.7% drop in the sales of the production of enterprises engaged in the manufacture of food products, 5.5% – refined petroleum products, 9.9% – rubber and plastic products. Over the said period, the sales of the production of the manufacture of furniture grew by 15.8, wood and wood products, except for furniture, – 11.8, computer, electronic and optical products – 39.5, fabricated metal products, except machinery and equipment – 19.4%. The value of sales and services to euro area countries decreased by 2.5%, while to non-euro area countries – increased by 2% at current prices. Refined petroleum products excluded, the value of sales and services on the non-Lithuanian market increased by 1.8% at current prices.
In January–July 2015, against January–July 2014, the value of sales and services of mining and quarrying and manufacturing on the Lithuanian market decreased by 0.2% at current prices, refined petroleum products excluded – increased by 1.8% at current prices.
