In January-June, cargo handling in Klaipeda Seaport grows by 6.2%

From January to June of 2015, Klaipeda Seaport cargo handling turnover increased by 6.2% to 18.86 million tons or 1.1 million tons more compared with the corresponding period of 2014. Overall turnover of liquid cargo handled in January amounted to 5.209 million tons, or up by 40.9%/1.1511,8 million tons on a year-on-year basis. General cargo – 5.616,2 million tons, or down by 14%/78,200 tons year-on-year; dry and bulk cargo – 8.031,1 million tons or down by 4%/334,000 tons year-on-year.
