Not all people and not always are interested in buying trailers and semi-trailers, therefore, they most of all care about food prices: if food is getting cheaper or more expensive.
Meanwhile, Vitas Vasiliauskas, Governor of the Bank of Lithuania, just recently rejoiced at the fact that prices did not grow after the euro adoption. Allegedly, it is a myth that the euro brings price hikes. However, we spend more and more euros as prices have been increasing.
Statistics Lithuania had observed the changes in prices of 100 basic consumer goods and services in March, compared to February. Only 28 prices remained unchanged, while 35 products got cheaper and 37 – more expensive. Therefore, the general price dynamics shows that prices either run on the spot or grow. In fact, compared to February, none of the services got cheaper.
