"This week, Lithuania received a second portion of good news about new available markets. Thanks to the joint efforts of the Government, diplomats, and the State Food and Veterinary Service, we managed to open the door to Lithuanian beef and its products to the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina," Lithuanian Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevicius is cited in the press release.
According to the Government, businesses interested in exporting beef production should start searching for partners in Bosnia and Herzegovina as the country is already prepared to accept the first products from Lithuania.
On 2 March, Lithuania was also informed about the permission to export Lithuanian dairy products to Argentina.
