Jonas Milius, head of Lithuania's State Food and Veterinary Service, met with representatives of Belarusian and Russian delegations in Berlin to discuss the issues of embargo, African swine fever and cargo transit. Milius said that some Western countries, for example, France, the Netherlands and Germany are ready to sign bilateral agreements on embargo lifting.
"We were not mentioned on that list," he said.
Sergey Dankvert, head of Russia's Rosselkhoznadzor, the federal service for veterinary and phytosanitary, told reporters at the Green Week that Moscow was ready to end the ban of food product import from Europe, which was imposed in August 2014.
