Lithuanian Comfort Hotel to accept bitcoins

The network of Nordic Choice Hotels, which includes Comfort Hotel LT – Rock'n' Roll Vilnius located in Lithuania's capital, will allow to pay for services using Bitcoins, a digital currency. Egidijus Damulis, Member of the Board of UAB Selvaag LT which owns the hotel, says that it was decided to implement the novelty because payments in bitcoins have been growing. "There are over 100,000 places in the world which accept this currency and the number is only rising," said Damulis. The price for a room will be calculated based on bitcoin price index at the time.
