The securities issues were distributed through the Nasdaq Vilnius Stock Exchange, which contributes to the effective participation of institutional and private investors in the capital market. The company's bond issues were assigned a Fitch rating A in accordance with the approved programme, and the securities were included in the European Central Bank's (ECB) secondary market purchase programme.
The State guarantee was granted by the Ministry of Finance for bond issues issued by Valstybės investicinis kapitalas UAB. After the successful securities redemption process and settlement with investors, the State guarantee expires.
The raised capital was invested in the Business Support Fund, which targeted at large and medium-sized enterprises affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. It is noteworthy that the activities of the investment fund were related not only to the mitigation of economic consequences, but also to the sustainable development and recovery of companies operating in Lithuania after the pandemic.
Valstybės investicinis kapitalas UAB is a company established by the state on 26 August 2020, the main objectives of which are to promote the capital market and invest in areas of strategic importance to the Lithuanian economy. The company indirectly invests in the defence industry giant Rheinmetall's project in Lithuania through the company EPSO-G Invest.
