"The Board of the Innovation Agency has a big task - not only to promote innovation, but also to reduce the bureaucratic burden on businesses so that innovative ideas reach the market as quickly as possible. I believe that both the new and existing members of the Board will contribute to faster and more effective implementation of the changes," said Lukas Savickas, Minister of the Economy and Innovation.
Agnė Paliokaitė, Head of Visionary Analytics, will continue to chair the Board. Paulius Vertelka, Head of Public Policy for the Baltics at Google, Žilvinas Pakeltis, Head of International Development, and Justina Klyvienė, Founder and Managing Partner of Innovation Lab Future Leadership will also continue to serve on the board. They will be joined by Marius Stasiukaitis, Vice-Minister of the Economy and Innovation, Julius Pranevičius, Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Regina Valutytė, Vice-Minister of Education, Science and Sport.
The Innovation Agency is responsible for promoting innovation, supporting research and experimental development and improving the competitiveness of enterprises.
