During the visit, the Minister and the Lithuanian business delegation will meet with Soo-young Yoon, Chief Technology Officer of LG Display, and will present Lithuania’s laser ecosystem and the country’s investment environment. A meeting with Cheol Lae Roh, Executive Vice President of Samsung Display, is also planned.
Ms Armonaitė will visit the factory of SK Hynix, the world’s second-largest producer of memory chips. After the visit, the Minister is scheduled to meet with the company’s CEO, Jungho Park, where Ms Armonaitė will present Lithuanian companies and opportunities for investment in laser systems.
The visit to South Korea will also include meetings with executives from Eugene Investment & Securities, a capital markets firm, nSage, a technology company, and Kotra, a trade and investment promotion organisation.
Ms Armonaitė is scheduled to meet with South Korea’s Minister of Commerce Dukgeun Ahn, Minister of Science and ICT Lee Jong Ho, and Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Park Bo Gyoon. During the meetings, they will discuss opportunities for cooperation between Lithuania and South Korea.
