Prior to his appointment, Darius Budrys worked as Lithuania's Commercial Attaché in the Kingdom of Norway, and before that he spent almost two decades at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Embassies of the Republic of Lithuania in Ukraine and Hungary. He holds a Master's degree in Political Science from the Institute of International Relations and Political Science at Vilnius University.
A. Masiulionis served as Lithuania's Commercial Attaché in Finland until his appointment. Prior to that, he worked as Commercial Attaché in Norway and Sweden, and before that at the Invest Lithuania Public Institution and the US Embassy in Lithuania. He holds a Master's degree in Economics from Vilnius University.
Last year, bilateral trade between Lithuania and Sweden amounted to EUR 4.58 billion. Sweden ranked 7th among Lithuania's 211 trading partners.
Last year, trade between Lithuania and Denmark amounted to EUR 1.64 billion, ranking Denmark 18th.
Lithuania is steadily increasing its economic representation in the world and currently has 17 Commercial Attachés in the following countries: the United Kingdom, the United States, Sweden, Denmark, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Israel, Ukraine, Japan, South Korea and Poland, as well as a Trade Representative in Taipei.
