The overall price change was mainly influenced by a 1.1% increase in prices for the production of the manufacture of refined petroleum products, 0.6% - food products, as well as by a 1.8% decrease in prices for the production of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (7% - gas, 0.2% - electricity).
Over the month, prices for industrial production sold on the Lithuanian market remained almost unchanged because an increase in prices for some products was counterbalanced by a decrease in prices for other products. The largest decrease in prices was observed for the production of the manufacture of other transport equipment (6.3%), printing and reproduction of recorded media (4.8%), while increase - computer, electronic and optical products (3.4%), manufacture of refined petroleum products (3%). Prices for food products increased by 0.3%, of which for prepared meals and dishes - 4.7 %, ice-cream - 4.4%, bread and fresh pastry goods - 3.5%. However, a 10.7% price drop was observed for sugar, 1.6% - milk products.
Over the month, prices for products sold on the non-Lithuanian market grew by 0.4%. The increase in prices was observed for the production of waste collection, treatment and disposal activities, materials recovery (6.9%), manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products (2.8%), while decrease - printing and reproduction of recorded media (1.6 %), wearing apparel (0.8%).
Over the year (July 2014, against July 2013), prices for the total industrial production sold decreased by 3.9%, refined petroleum products excluded - by 4.2%. It was mainly influenced by an 11.6% decrease in prices for the production of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply and a 6.1% increase in prices for manufacture of other transport equipment.
The largest price drop was observed for the production of the manufacture of chemicals and chemical products (13.3%), printing and reproduction of recorded media (6%), while prices for the production of waste collection, treatment and disposal activities, materials recovery increased by 18.3%, manufacture of tobacco products - 12.9%.
