Daiva Kirkilaitė-Chetcuti currently serves as Lithuania's Commercial Attaché in France.
"France is a priority export market for our country, and the expanded network of commercial attachés will provide even more opportunities to establish mutually beneficial contacts and attract more investment. In recent years, we have been particularly strengthening our economic representation in Lithuania's most important markets, and we have created 11 new commercial attaché posts," said Aušrinė Armonaitė, Minister of the Economy and Innovation.
The position of Commercial Attaché at the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in France is open to persons with at least a bachelor's degree in law, business, economics or political sciences and at least two years of experience in international cooperation. Applicants must have a level C1 knowledge of French and a level B2 knowledge of English.

French investment in Lithuania reached €711 million in the second quarter of this year. France ranked 11th in terms of investment in Lithuania last year. More than 100 French companies are currently operating in Lithuania. Between 2010 and 2020, 9 foreign direct investment projects were implemented by French businesses.
Lithuania currently has 18 commercial attachés in the following countries: the United Kingdom, the United States, Norway, Finland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Israel, Ukraine, South Korea. As part of the expansion of its attaché network, Lithuania aims to increase the number of commercial attachés to 23 by 2024.
The Ministry is currently running competitions for commercial attachés in Poland, Sweden and Singapore, and will shortly be launching a competition for a commercial attaché in Denmark.
