During the meeting with an American software company, the President welcomed its decision to open an office in Lithuania at the beginning of this year.
“Lithuania can offer foreign companies an excellent investment environment and a rich pool of IT talent. Our economy is growing fast, rapidly integrating innovation and moving towards sustainability. We have already demonstrated our economic resilience to crises during the Covid-19 pandemic,” the President pointed out.
Gitanas Nausėda underlined that Lithuania had a rapidly growing information technology ecosystem, with a well-developed infrastructure, an increasing number of business-university partnerships, as well as a growing talent pool and artificial intelligence community. All this makes Lithuania a particularly attractive destination for the expansion of IT business.
