After the joint company is established, Cargo Stream's joint infrastructure in Europe will be formed, covering forwarders, carriers, clients, ports and sea lines, the company said.
Sarunas Velickas, the company's chief operating officer, says the company plans to attract some 2 million euros worth of investment and is currently negotiating with one of Europe's funds.
"The main port in Northern France servicing 2 million sea containers every year has been selected for a reason. (…)We are ready for swift expansion and moving a large number of clients to our system covering all participants of the logistics chain," he was quoted as saying in a statement.
Cargo Stream has a company in the UKJ, an office in Germany, and is also in the process of establishment of a joint enterprise in Poland with a local investment fund.
