"After completing all legal formalities, we now have the green light for construction work on this section," LTG Infra CEO Karolis Sankovski said in a press release.
The company obtained the right to carry out construction on the section after 60 state land transfer agreements have been registered with the Center of Registers.
This follows the acquisition of 1,365 land parcels from private owners. Another 1,200 parcels have been taken for public needs to build access roads and other infrastructure. The process is scheduled to be completed early next year.
