During January-March of the current year, the company has provided 62% more services if compared with the respective period of 2013.
"A significant contribution to good results has been made by the new logistics centre put into operations in Vilnius at the end of last year. In terms of flows of private and business companies, the centre is located in a very convenient place. The flows of customers have exceeded our expectations," said Director of Baltic Post Domas Sabaitis.
The encouraging results have also been determined by growing courier market. The number of companies running their businesses via online trade is growing; consequently, the demand for courier services is increasing.
Sabaitis said he was glad Baltic Post has managed to occupy a firm position in courier market in a short time, and considering the growing market share LP EXPRESS couriers are among leaders. Due to quality services and tailored and convenient solutions offered to customers the market share occupied by LP EXPRESS couriers will further grow.
According to the estimations of the company's CEO, mail volumes handled by LP EXPRESS couriers will double.
