Income of the central government in the last four months amounted to LTL 10.799 billion (EUR 3.13 billion), while expenses amounted to LTL 11.887 (EUR 3.44 billion).
Transactions with non-financial assets during the January-March amounted to LTL 0.271 billion (EUR 0.08 billion).
In January-April. 48.2% of the central government income came from taxes and 41.4% came from social contributions. The largest share of expenses during the same period came from 50% of social benefits and 16.9% from grants.
In April deficit of the central government was LTL 0.199 billion (EUR 0.06 billion) or 0.2% of the predicted GDP in 2014. The central government's income in April amounted to LTL 2.791 billion, expenses to LTL 2.910 billion (EUR 0.843 billion) and transactions with non-financial assets came down to LTL 0.080 billion (EUR 0.023 billion).
The largest share of the central government income in April came from taxes 44.8% and social contributions 42.2%. The largest share of expenses was spent on social benefits 51.1%.
