The first plane took off from Vilnius at 7.50 a.m. and is scheduled to return from Amsterdam at 1.30 p.m. As of today, flights will be operated daily, according to the airline's website.
On Tuesday, airBaltic is set to resume its flights from Vilnius to Paris, and Hungarian airline Wizz Air will start flying to Billund.
As of June 11, airBaltic will also start flying to Berlin. Wizz Air will start flying to Paris as of June 14. SAS is scheduled to resume its flights to Copenhagen as of June 15, and Wizz Air will start flying to Nice as of June 17.
Moreover, Wizz Air also plans to resume flights from Lithuania's western resort town of Palanga to Finland's Turku as of June 10.
Regular flights from Lithuanian airports to Frankfurt, Riga, Tallinn, Oslo, Dortmund, Eindhoven, Bergen, Alesund and Stavanger have also recently been resumed.
