"The Government has planned approximately LTL 200 million (EUR 58 million) from the EU structural assistance in the new financial perspective for promotion of export, stressing diversification of export markets, search for new markets," said the prime minister.
The Government points out that it is necessary to look for opportunities to sell more production in perspective markets in Norway, the United States, Japan, Turkmenistan, and Kazakhstan. The Government is also looking for opportunities to enter export markets in China, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Republic of South Africa.
Promoting business mission, coordination between governmental institutions and businessmen is of utmost importance, therefore, the Government closely cooperates with business institutions.
