According to Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications Arijandas Sliupas, there is no doubt that partnership between Klaipeda and Huston ports will open new export opportunities for Lithuania, in addition, export and trade companies, operating in the United States, will learn more about the potential of Lithuanian transport infrastructure.
As reported, this week, a cooperation agreement between the ports of Klaipeda and New Orleans was signed in the US as well. The ports undertook the obligations to exchange the data related to the trade statistics and to help to spread the information about the activities of the ports.
