Such development of the official reserve assets was driven by an LTL 1.2 billion (EUR 346 million) decrease in central government deposits with the Bank of Lithuania and an LTL 65 million (EUR 18 million) decline in the amount of currency in circulation.
Part of the decline in official reserve assets was offset by an LTL 507.1 million (EUR 146 million) increase in the deposits of other financial institutions with the Bank of Lithuania, the positive LTL 108 million (EUR 31 million) change in other factors, an LTL 81.4 million (EUR 23 million) increase in the Bank of Lithuania's external liabilities, and a marginal increase in the value of special drawing rights (LTL 0.1 million (EUR 28 thousand).
