90% of Lithuania's direct investment was in EU member states and 65.1 % in euro area countries alone, the Bank of Lithuania and Statistics Lithuania said in a joint press release on Thursday.
The Netherlands was the number-one destination for Lithuania's direct investment with 705.7 mln euros, followed by Cyprus with 647.1 mln euros, Latvia with 519.2 mln euros and Poland with 423 mln euros.
Lithuania's direct investment flow abroad in the third quarter of 2018 was negative at minus 1.2 mln euros. The largest investment flows were recorded in Latvia, at 18.5 mln euros, and the Netherlands, at 10.2 mln euros.
